MAMMA MIA! to Return to Las Vegas for Open-Ended Run in Spring 2014

The show that kept Las Vegas dancing in the aisles for six years, Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus' global smash hit musical MAMMA MIA!, returns to The Strip in Spring 2014 with an open-ended run at The New Tropicana.

MAMMA MIA! is still one of the most successful musicals ever on the Strip. The show set the precedent for stage musicals in Las Vegas performing more than 2,200 times to over 2 million guests for over six incredible years.

Now celebrating 12 smash hit years on Broadway it is one of only 5 musicals to have run for more than 10 years on Broadway. The original West End production, now in its 15th year, has celebrated over 6,000 performances in London. Inspired by the story-telling magic of ABBA's timeless songs, MAMMA MIA! is Judy Craymer's ingenious vision of staging writer Catherine Johnson's sunny, funny tale of family and friendship unfolding on a tiny Greek island. On the eve of her wedding, a daughter's quest to discover the identity of her father brings 3 men from her mother's past back to the island they had last visited 20 years ago. Songs including "Dancing Queen," "The Winner Takes It All," "Money, Money, Money" and "Take a Chance on Me" are all featured in this feel-good night of fun and laughter.
