Fantasma Magic and Palooka Productions present MAGIC and ZONE: The Comedy Magic of Rich Marotta and Twila Zone. Rich is a stand up comedian and world renowned magician. Rich's be-speckled pink haired assistant is Twila Zone. Twila may look ditzy, but she always manages to upstage Rich with tricks of her own. Her eccentric characterization adds a new, far out, dimension a magic act. Rich Marotta & Twila Zone have fused the pace and timing of comedy with the subtlety and misdirection of magic to produce a show that is sophisticated enough for adults and also entertaining for kids

MAGIC and ZONE operating on two levels. On one level it is a show with great magic effects and illusions on another level it is a comedy play that pokes fun at itself and the world of magic. Just when The Audience thinks they know what's happening something else happens. The show represents the new wave of magic for the 21st Century: Fast paced, funny and hip.

Special guest appearance by master juggler and entertainer Will Shaw.

RICH MAROTTA: Besides being one of the foremost close up magicians in the world, Rich Marotta is also an accomplished stage performer and Stand Up comedian. He has performed his one man show in all fifty states. He has appeared on over 20 television shows including, Comic Strip Live, Showtime Comdey Club, and Comedy On The Road. He has also appeared on television in London, England, Melbourne, Australia and Madrid, Spain.

Twila Zone, aka, Tamara Marotta was a serious actress with Stage Group Theatre of San Francisco before taking up with her husband, Rich Marotta. Together, they went for the laughs working comedy clubs, Caroline's, Laugh Factory, Comedy Stops, performing on television, The Learning Channel, London Weekend Television, and British Satellite Broadcasting, and touring the world with their live comedy show; London, Australia, Copenhagen, Buenos Aires. Just about everywhere, before settling in their "forever home port" of New York. Tamara also writes screenplays, novels, and feature stories about Magic and other things.
