Vintage parodies of theatre classics WEST SIDE STORY and WHO'S AFRAID OF VIRGINIA WOOLF? figure into a new spotlight on classic humor tome MAD Magazine in a new Studio 360 podcast segment.

The well-remembered theatrical parodies as originally seen in the magazine are celebrated as part of a continuing spotlight on 1960s culture.

Of note, the WEST SIDE STORY parody includes a hilarious send-up of "The Jet Song" aimed at the 1960s communism-fueled Red Scare, titled "When You're A Red".

Sample lyrics for "When You're A Red" are as follows:

"When you're a Red,
You're a Red all the way
From your first party purge
To your last power play"

The real question is, what does Stephen Sondheim think of this ribald parody of his classic lyrics?
