Producer Ken Davenport has announced details for the "$30 Under 30" rush ticket program for the upcoming Broadway engagement of Macbeth, starring Tony and Olivier Award winner and two-time Emmy nominee Alan Cumming (Cabaret, "The Good Wife").
Direct from sold-out engagements at The National Theatre of Scotland and the Lincoln Center Festival, this acclaimed one-man interpretation of Macbeth will play a strictly limited 73-performance engagement at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre.
Preview performances begin on Sunday, April 7 (7 p.m.) with an official Opening Night on Sunday, April 21 (6 p.m.). The Broadway run will conclude on Sunday, June 30.
The "$30 Under 30" rush program is effective for all performances except the Opening Night performance (subject to availability).
Each morning when the Ethel Barrymore Theatre Box Office opens (10 a.m. Mon.-Sat., 12 p.m. Sun.), a limited number of rush tickets will be available for that day's performance for patrons under the age of 30.
All rush tickets are $30 each (price includes a $2 facility fee) and a valid ID with date-of-birth must be presented at the time of purchase. There is a limit of one ticket per ID. Rush tickets can only be purchased in-person at the theater box office.
The Ethel Barrymore Theatre is located at 243 West 47th Street.
