The MAC Awards will be presented at at 7:30 PM at the Tribeca Performing Arts Center at Borough of Manhattan Community College, (199 Chambers St.) on Monday, April 17th. Tony Award-winning theatre, concert and cabaret star Betty Buckley (Cats, Sunset Boulevard, The Mystery of Edwin Drood),
Donald Smith, a Cabaret Convention producer and founder of the Mabel Mercer
Foundation, and jazz legend Sheila Jordan Snow will all receive MAC Lifetime Achievement Awards, while Phoebe Snow will also be honored with MAC's Board of Directors
Award. Karen Mason, Carol Hall and others are currently lined up to appear, as well.Adrianne Tolsch will perform None of Your Damn Business at Rose's Turn on April 8th and 15th at 7 PM. The Duplex will host Jasper Kump's Sunday in New York on April 2nd at 5 PM. The Frank and Joe Show will be held at Iridium on April 5th at 9 PM, while Female Vocalists Night will take place at the same venue on April 5th at 7 PM.
Performing at Helen's will be Evan Stern with Sentimental Journey: Songs of WWII (March 28th at 7 PM), Jeanne McDonald (April 4th, 8th, 21st, 22nd, 29th, May 5th and 6th at 9:30 PM), Leslie Anderson and Ricky Ritzel with Mercer at the Movie's (March 21st at 9:30 PM), Rick Skye with A Slice O'Minnelli (March 30th at 7 PM), and Sue Matsuki with an encore of 10 Years in the Making (April 9th).
