GENERATIONS is a series of three one-act plays in musical revue style spotlighting the 2016 student body of this acclaimed yet intimate vocal & acting program located in Brooklyn and Manhattan.

The event features three original one-acts created from the playwright's program; students of the MVP (Master's Vocal Program), singing both established music and original tunes created from the inaugural Composer's Workshop.

GENERATIONS:

LITTLE BIG SHOTS: Four child actors bond while waiting for an unknown audition. Featuring Agapi Bakopoulou, Drew Louis, Allie Nicole, and Ella Paturno, with original music by Allie Nicole.

RHYTHM OF LIFE: A Coming-of-Age story centered around a young composer's first piece. Featuring Ashley Chico, Brigid Elizabeth Drake, and Isabella Sirota, with original music by Isabella Sirota.

UNHAPPY: The day-job was supposed to last forever... that's why they gave up their theatre careers. Now on the eve of termination, three mature office workers reexamine life. Featuring Christine Conway, Emmy Pai, Dave Richards, and starring Mario Claudio

M Center students have gone on to appear in the professional theatre, including national tours, feature films, acceptance to prestigious schools, recording contracts, and numerous awards.

Artistic Director and Vocal Instructor: Mary Elizabeth Micari
Book & Stage Direction: Jay Michaels
Pianist: Mason Griffin

Founder of the organization, Mary Elizabeth Micari, keeps registration to under 20 students to ensure individualized training in her new method of instruction: The P.A.T.H. (Performing Arts Training - Holistically) which teaches voice & acting skills while eliminating fear issues and enhancing concentration, stamina, and determination - basically, growth in mind, body, and spirit.
