More stars will join the previously announced Tyne Daly and Jonathan Hadary in Project Shaw's staged reading of George Bernard Shaw's The Millionairess, which will be presented on Monday, July 23rd at 7 PM at the Players Club (16 Gramercy Park South).  David Staller produces and directs.

Joining Gypsy co-stars Daly (Rabbit Hole) as Epifania Fitzfassenden and Hadary (Awake and Sing!) as Julius Sagamore will be Daniel Jenkins (Mary Poppins) as Alastair Fitzfassenden, Simon Jones (Waiting in the Wings) as Adrian Blenderbland, Rebecca Luker (Mary Poppins) as Patricia Smith and John McMartin (Grey Gardens) The Doctor, with John Martello as The Man, Charlotte Moore as The Woman and Time Out New York's Adam Feldman as The Manager.  NY1's Roma Torre will narrate the reading, which will be hosted by the Village Voice's Michael Musto.

The Millionairess is described as "a witty comedy where the woman gets the upper hand...and keeps it."  The Millionairess has been a successful vehicle for many stars, including Maggie Smith, Katharine Hepburn, Edith Evans and even Sophia Loren in the film version.

Project Shaw, presented by Gingold Theatrical Group, is the first theatre festival to present every one of the author's plays. Press notes state, "The Irish born Shaw, who died at age 94 in 1950, is one of the most prolific writers of plays, books and treatises in the English language. His unyielding stand for human rights, particularly for women's rights, has become legendary. He encouraged general political awareness and the need for people to take responsibility for their own lives.
