Lovette Scholarship Fund To Launch at Benefit

The launch of Groove With Me's Lovette Scholarship Fund will take place on Thursday, September 20th from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. and will include a performance by New York City Ballet Principal Dancer Lauren Lovette, for whom the scholarship is named. The night will also include an open bar, hors d'oeuvres, and a performance by Groove With Me dancers.

Young dancers at Groove With Me have been accepted to ballet programs at world class dance institutions such as The School of American Ballet, American Ballet Theatre's JKO School, and Dance Theatre of Harlem. Tuition and fees are extremely high at these prestigious academies. When possible, Groove With Me will complete tuition where financial aid leaves off, but GWM students need your help to support their dreams.

Buying a ticket for only $50 will make it possible for these young dancers to pursue their passion for dance.

Groove With Me provides free dance classes and performance opportunities to 400 girls residing in East Harlem and the South Bronx. Groove With Me's programming aims to empower young women while providing a safe and creative space for the whole family to grow and flourish.
