Two-time Emmy award winner Louie Anderson is one of the countries most recognized & adored comics and is coming to Comedy Works Landmark Village tomorrow! Comedy Central acknowledges him as "One of 100 Greatest Stand-Up Comedians of All Time."
Louie is well known for his "clean" comedy about growing up in the Midwest that has endeared him to audiences worldwide. Currently he is headlining in his own stand-up show, Louie Live, in Las Vegas.
Anderson has worked on television and in movies, starring in his own CBS sitcom The Louie Show and five of his own comedy specials for both HBO and Showtime. He has guest starred on popular sitcoms like Scrubs and Grace Under Fire, as well as dramas like Touched by an Angel and Chicago Hope. Anderson has also appeared in memorable featured roles in films such as Coming to America, opposite Eddie Murphy. This multi-talented comedian/actor created and produced the Emmy Award winning animated FOX series Life with Louie, and hosted the syndicated hit series, Family Feud.
In addition to acting and comedy, Anderson is a best-selling author. He has written three books, including the best-selling first book Dear Dad- Letters from an Adult Child and his latest, The F Word: How to Survive Your Family.
