Lori Belilove and The Isadora Duncan Dance Co. Come to Isadora Duncan Foundation Studio

Lori Belilove will present her Isadora Duncan Dance Company in three performances in the intimate and friendly Isadora Duncan Foundation Studio, 141 West 26th Street in Chelsea, with a wine and cheese reception following each performance, Thursday & Friday, March 28 & 29 at 7:30 PM, and Sunday March 31 at 3 PM (Women's History Month).

Belilove will join her 7-member ensemble, accompanied on piano by Cameron Grant, for a program of Duncan dances to Chopin, Schubert, Brahms and Scriabin. She will also provide opening remarks for each dance section describing the narrative behind the dances, as well as the dynamic elements of the Duncan technique.

Remarked Belilove: "My dancers and I are looking forward to welcoming visitors to the Isadora Duncan Foundation Studio. For these performances I am selecting a repertory of Isadora's works that reflect her purity and intensity, many of which my extra-ordinary dancers performed on our recent tours to China and Greece. And, after successful hip replacement surgery, I'm also excited to fully throw myself back into performing again."

* Brahms The Many Faces of Love, waltzes
* Scriabin Mother Revolutionary (Ode to the Oppressed)
