Lola Tung & More to Join 54 SINGS GREEK MYTHS This Month

54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents 54 Sings Greek Myths on August 11, 2024, at 9:30 pm.

Bless my soul, Broadway's on a roll! Producers Joshua Turchin, Josie Axelson, Ryan Greenberg Failla, and their ensemble of Broadway performers with special guest Lola Tung are "Bouncing Off The Walls" in excitement to bring their celebration of the biggest Greek Myth musicals to 54 Below in 54 Sings Greek Myths! Come along our journey to Hadestown, Xanadu, the underworld and beyond to honor classic tales of giant spiders, magic swords, and lots of frogs. Along the "Road to Hell," who knows what you'll find... and that's the gospel truth!

Josie Axelson is a film and theater actress, dancer, singer, and writer based in NYC. Recent credits include: “Hostage Rescue” (The CW), 54 Survives High School (54 Below), Alice by Heart (Theatre for the New City) and John and Jen (Playwright’s Horizons Theatre School). She is a recent BFA graduate of NYU Tisch Drama and is thrilled to be making her producing debut in 54 Sings Greek Myths. Her multi-hyphenate work has allowed her to achieve success in multiple mediums, from winning Best Actress for her lead role in the Minneapolis feature After the Gunflint (Reel Harmony Film & Script Festival) and choreographing for Children’s Theatre Company (Be More Chill), to writing, directing, and starring in her debut short film, Host, currently running on the national film festival circuit. MORE ABOUT RYAN GREENBERG FAILLA

Ryan Greenberg Failla is a director, writer, and composer born, raised, and based in NYC. He recently completed his BFA theater and music training at NYU this spring. Most recently, Ryan served as assistant director for Treeson: An Eco-Musical at 54 Below. Ryan directed John & Jen (Act I) (NYU, Playwrights Horizons Theater School) and has written and directed several musical works, including Potato: The Musical (recorded reading), Singing in the Living Room (Vino Theater), and To the Life of Lisa Simmard (NYU, PHTS). Ryan music directed and wrote vocal arrangements for Young Blood Chronicles (NYU, PHTS), a Fallout Boy jukebox musical. He scored the stage play Space Pirates II (NYU, PHTS) and received a nomination for best score for the short film A Cause for Alarm (48 Hour Film Festival).
