Live from UCB Theatre to Launch on SiriusXM's Raw Dog Comedy Channel

Sirius XM Radio (NASDAQ: SIRI) announced today that it will launch Live from UCB Theatre, the exclusive hour-long weekly show featuring sketch comedy, stand up and improv performances recorded live at the UCB Theatre, on Raw Dog Comedy, channel 99.

Live from UCB Theatre will launch on Saturday, June 11 at 11:00 pm ET and will air on Saturday nights at 11:00 pm ET with a special encore on Mondays at 7:00 pm ET.

Each week SiriusXM listeners will hear a different comedy show, performed from the stage of the UCB Theatre. The exclusive series will kick off with the award-winning variety show, "Totally J/K," hosted by Joe Mande and Noah Garfinkel and featuring guest appearances from some of the best stand-up comedians in New York City, including Julian McCullough and Kurt Braunohler.
The series will also include a broadcast of "The Roast of Justin Bieber," featuring UCB founding member Matt Besser, Chelsea Lately's Guy Branum and Ali Waller; "Waiting for Obama: A Night at the Hall of Presidents," the one-act play exploring the legacy of American presidents; and "Tournament of Nerds," a heated debate between comedians and nerds about comic books, Sci Fi, horror and fantasy characters, featuring guest judges Rich Sommer of Mad Men and Ben Garant of Reno 911.

The Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre is bicoastal, currently with two locations - one in New York City (at 307 West 26th Street) and another in Los Angeles (located at 5919 Franklin Avenue), and has plans to open another soon in downtown Manhattan.

SiriusXM Raw Dog Comedy features uncensored comedy from The Edge: classic comedy, the hottest new stand-ups and original shows.
