'Little Dog,' History Boys Among GLAAD Award Nominees

The 18th Annual GLAAD Media Awards nominations have been announced.

The GLAAD Awards honor achievement in theatre, film, TV and journalism.  Its categories for theatre include: Outstanding Los Angeles Theater; Outstanding New York Theater: Broadway and Off-Broadway; and Outstanding New York Theatre: Off Off-Broadway.

The GLAAD Media Awards will be televised on Logo on April 21st. 

There will be four GLAAD ceremonies: in New York on March 26th, in Los Angeles on April 14th, in San Francisco on April 28th, and in South Florida on May 10th.

The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) is "dedicated to promoting and ensuring fair, accurate and inclusive representation of people and events in the media as a means of eliminating homophobia and discrimination based on gender identity and sexual orientation," according to the organization's website.
