Linda Evans' (Sticky Girls, Prejudice in the House) play Lipstick on a Pig will begin previews May 18, opening officially May 23 at Theatre Row's Beckett Theatre, 410 West 42nd Street, (between 9th and 10th Ave.) in Manhattan.

Directed by David Epstein (Coronado, Airport Hilton) the show stars Alexis Croucher, John Farrell, Dennis Hearn, and Christa Kimlico Jones. The show's creative team includes Joe Novak (Lighting Design), John Farrell (Set), David Epstein (Sound) and Michael Bevins (Costumes).

Press notes describe Lipstick on a Pig as "a daring and dangerous look at futility in the face of death. A family in crisis struggles with self, guilt, secrets and God, during a mysterious journey to where all is forgiven…or not. Underlying fear, rage, decadence and insanity surface despite a very human struggle to contain them."

Scheduled May 18 through June 3, Lipstick on a Pig runs Wednesdays - Fridays at 8pm; Saturdays at 2pm and 8pm; and Sundays at 2pm at Theatre Row's Beckett Theatre (410 West 42nd Street). Tickets are $18; $12 for groups of eight or more, and are available by calling (212) 279-4200 or by visiting www.ticketcentral.com.
