On Monday, June 30, 2014, Broadway's celebrated revival of John Kander, Fred Ebb and Bob Fosse's Tony Award-winning musical Chicago will welcome Lindsay Roginski in her Broadway stage debut as merry murderess Roxie Hart.

No stranger to the worldwide Chicago family, Ms. Roginski has played the starring role of Roxie Hart in recent national tours of the acclaimed revival.

In 2008 she starred as Lola opposite Richard Kind in the Casa Mañana production of Damn Yankees. Her Off-Broadway credits include La Goulou in The Fartiste, and she was a featured performer in Heat Wave: The Jack Cole Project, directed and choreographed by Chet Walker, the creator of Fosse.

Her other stage credits include One for My Baby starring Vivian Reed, Grease, 42nd Street, Godspell, Crazy for You, Closer Than Ever, My One and Only, Annie and more.

She recently made her New York cabaret debuts at the prestigious Metropolitan Room, the Iridium Jazz Club and 54 Below. On Broadway, Ms. Roginski will star as Roxie Hart through Sunday, July 6 for a vacationing Bianca Marroquin. Ms. Marroquin returns to the role on Tuesday, July 8.

CHICAGO also stars Amra-Faye Wright as Velma Kelly, Olivier Award nominee Brent Barrett as Billy Flynn, Paul C. Vogt as Amos Hart and Carol Woods as Matron "Mama" Morton.

With a legendary book by Fred Ebb and Bob Fosse, music by John Kander and lyrics by Fred Ebb, Chicago is the winner of six 1997 Tony Awards including Best Musical Revival and the Grammy Award for Best Musical Cast Recording. The revival, which now hold the record as the longest-running American musical in Broadway history, is producer by Barry and Fran Weissler.

Set amidst the razzle-dazzle decadence of the 1920s, Chicago is the story of Roxie Hart, a housewife and nightclub dancer who murders her on-the-side lover after he threatens to walk out on her.
Desperate to avoid conviction, she dupes the public, the media and her rival cellmate, Velma Kelly, by hiring Chicago's slickest criminal lawyer to transform her malicious crime into a barrage of sensational headlines, the likes of which might just as easily be ripped from today's tabloids.

Directed by Tony Award winner Walter Bobbie and choreographed by Tony Award winner Ann Reinking, Chicago features set design by John Lee Beatty, costume design by Tony Award winner William Ivey Long, lighting design by Tony Award winner Ken Billington and sound design by Scott Lehrer.
