Lillias White Set for Marilyn and Alan Bergman Celebration

The lyrics of Marilyn and Alan Bergman/> will be featured as part of Lincoln Center's series American Songbook, featuring songs written by famed lyricists.   The concert will be held at the Allen Room on February 2 at 8:30PM.

Lillias White recently joined a list of performers that includes Brian Stokes Mitchell/>, Lari White/>, and Melissa Errico.

Lillias White/> has appeared in several Broadway plays including Barnum, Once on This Island, and the revival of Dreamgirls, as Effie. White also won a Tony Award for her role in Cy Coleman/>'s The Life.

Marilyn and Alan Bergman/> have written songs such as 'The Promise', 'Papa Can You Hear Me?', and 'Yellow Bird'.  They won the Oscar in 1984 for their work on Yentl.
