Less Than Rent Theatre, known for caffeinated, hard-edged indie theatre, is proud to present Pussy Sludge, a new play written by Gracie Gardner as part of SANCTUARY. Pussy Sludge will run February 10th, 11th and 12th at HERE Arts Center. Tickets are currently on sale at www.lessthanrent.org.

Dominique is menstruating crude oil. She lives in a swamp. She's in love with Courtney, but her mother prefers RJ. No one knows who knows what's best. Pussy Sludge is a tender exploration of questioning authority, suspending shame through intimacy, and very bad advice.

Gracie Gardner's work has been developed and seen at Naked Angels, Mason Holding, the Flea, Hearth Gods, Adaptive Arts, Tiny Rhino, the Secret Theater, Dixon Place, Less Than Rent, 24 Hour Plays: Nationals, the Workshop Theater, YES NOISE, Collaborative Arts Mobility Project, and Core Artist Ensemble. Her play Primary won Sanguine Theatre Company's 2016 Project Playwright Award and premiered at IRT Theater in April 2016. Her cabaret play IndianapolisAlyssa1985 Is Getting Married was workshopped at Dixon Place and premiered at the WorkShop Theater (MITF) in 2015. She's a member of Project Y's Playwright Group and an alum of the Tank's TV Pilot Development Group. She currently holds a writing residency at Cincinnati Conservatory of Music (CCM) and is the winner of James E. Michael Award for Playwriting from Kenyon College.

The cast features Becca Ballenger (Masterwork's Midsummer), Sebastian Beacon (Taking Woodstock), Josephine Huang (The Great Recession), Rachel B. Joyce (Our Town at Green-Wood Cemetery), Dominique Salerno (FringeNYC and United Solo winner for The Box Show), RJ Vaillancourt (The Real Actors of NYC), and Adam Weppler (Puppet Hamlet), and Courtney Williams (The Tear Drinkers). It will be directed by Skylar Fox (An Annotated History of the American Muskrat).

The performance schedule is as follows: Friday February 10th at 8:30pm, Saturday February 11th at 8:30pm, and Sunday February 12th at 4:00pm and 8:30pm

Tickets for Pussy Sludge are available by visiting www.lessthanrent.org, www.here.org, at the box office, or by calling 212-352-3101. Tickets are $20.
