Caroline's on Broadway is thrilled to announce that for one night only Broadway's Leslie Kritzer will be joining the Revival Show action! She's joined by Fat Carrie Bradshaw (Chris Burns, Betches) and Josh Gondelman (Last Week Tonight with John Oliver) as well as co-hosts Lauren Brickman (UCB, Stuffed Off-Broadway) and Anna Roisman (The Unemployed Show) for a night of musical theatre nostalgia. About the show:
Comedians Anna Roisman & Lauren Brickman share a dark past... musical theatre! These former broadway babies are dusting off their sheet music & inviting some of their favorite comedians to share war stories and sing songs as they revive roles from their musical theatre pasts! So, in case you missed their 4th grade production of The Music Man, now's the time to catch it. Anna, Lauren, and the Revival Show house band are excited to finally be on Broadway... almost....at Caroline's!
The Revival Show house band is Paolo C. Perez (Music Director, Piano), Derek Swink (Drums), and Max Ash (Bass).
About the Hosts:
Anna Roisman is a comedian, writer, actress and host. She is the creator of The Unemployed Show on Facebook Live, and has created a number of viral videos featured on Huffpost, NYTimes, LATimes, Funny Or Die, and more. Anna went to the 2017 Tribeca Film Festival with a short called, "Owen Wilson Dates Himself," and Just For Laughs Montreal with her pilot, "This One Time @ Camp." Anna's first musical theater role was Harvey Johnson in her all-girls-camp production of Bye Bye Birdie (she never landed female roles). Anna is most proud of her role as Roxie Hart at Boston University and dyed her hair red for the role. Though she is brunette, she identifies as a Galinda. www.AnnaRoisman.com
Lauren Brickman is a house performer at The Upright Citizen's Brigade Theatre where she performs monthly with her Maude Sketch Team, Archnemesis. Lauren made her Off-Broadway debut in Lisa Lampanelli's play, Stuffed, and is an active member of The Story Pirates. Lauren's first musical theatre role was Mrs. Pearce in My Fair Lady at a children's theatre in Edmond, Oklahoma when she was in 7th grade. However, she is most proud of having played Mama Rose at 18 in her high school production of Gypsy. She hopes to play the role again before she dies. www.LaurenBrickman.com
