Chad Kimball, who stars in Lennon currrently playing at the Broadhurst Theatre has launched his own Clothing Line called OGEAR.
"We started with the idea about four yearsa ago, but really started working the whole thing about 9 months ago...it has been such a fulfilling process to work with my brother and make a product that we really believe in. It seemed like it might be fun. My brother and I were also a bit tired of the whole "you are what you wear" mentality...like the girls wearing a shirt that says "princess" - that really makes me wanna rush up and ask for her digits...you know?" says Kimball on the newly launched website.
About Chad Kimball
Chad came to New York in the Spring of 1999 after graduating from The Boston Conservatory and made his Broadway debut in "The Civil War."
He was then seen off-Broadway in 30th Anniversary off-Broadway Revival of "Godspell" followed by the Broadway revival of Stephen Sondheim's "Into the Woods". It was during technical rehearsals in Los Angeles that Chad was asked to step into the role of Milky-White the Cow. That part brought much attention to Chad and he was named one of "the 100 most creative people in entertainment" for Entertainment Weekly's "It List".
Other credits include Ricky Ian Gordon's "My Life With Albertine" and Joe DiPietro's "Memphis". Chad also played Danny in last year's revival of "Baby" at The Papermill Playhouse in Millburn, New Jersey. He then joined Irish Repertory's revival of "Finian's Rainbow", taking over for Malcom Gets. Shortly before Lennon rehearsals began, he was seen in "Good Vibrations" featuring songs by the Beach Boys.
