Fans of the music legend and of the upcoming Broadway musical can now visit the Lennon website at this link and send friends and family a "virtual peace sign" courtesy of LennonTheMusical.com.

Lennon, after having played an out-of-town tryout, will open at the Broadhurst Theatre on August 4th after beginning previews on July 7th.  Produced by Allan McKeown, Edgar Lansbury, Clear Channel Entertainment and Jeffrey Sine by arrangement with Lennon's widow Yoko Ono, the biographical musical of the Beatles legend features Don Scardino's book and direction.  "A musical biography, a concert, and a celebration all in one, Lennon takes us on a magical, mythical journey behind the greatest rock legacy and the boldest love story of our time - with words, images and some of the best pop songs ever written. From the Beatles to the Bed-Ins, from his musical partnership with Paul to his life partnership with Yoko, Lennon will bring you back to a time when music could change your soul... and one musician could change the world," according to a press article.

Will Chase, Chuck Cooper, Julie Danao, Mandy Gonzalez, Marcy Harriell, Chad Kimball, Terrence Mann, Julia Murney, and Michael Pott are the nine stars of the show, which features them playing multiple roles (with four of the men as John Lennon).

In addition to songs from the Lennon catalogue, the show includes three of his rare and unpublished songs--"India, India" and "I Don't Want to Lose You"  which were never published, and exist only on private recordings, and "Cookin' (in the Kitchen of Love)," which was recorded by Ringo Starr in 1976, but was never recorded by Lennon.

Lennon's playing schedule will be Tuesday - Saturday at 8pm, Wednesday and Saturday at 2pm, and Sunday at 3pm.  Tickets, which range from $46.25 to $101.25, are available through Telecharge.com online or by phone at (212) 239-6200.
