'Legend of Sleepy Hollow' Cast Album Now Available

The New York cast recording of James Crowley and Robert Stempin's The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, based on the classic work by Washington Irving, is now available.

The CD will features Broadway who previously appeared in the York Theatre's June 2006 premiere reading of the show.  That reading was directed by Ben Rimalower, and featured Perry Ojeda as Ichabod Crane, Ann Rooney as Katrina Van Tassel, and Matt Stokes as Brom Van Brunt, among others.

The Legend of Sleepy Hollow has received a number of regional productions, and the creators have set their sights on a future Broadway run. Crowley, of Phoenix, Ariz., and Stempin, of Durham, N.C., are currently collaborating on two other musicals, Walking With Grace, inspired by Hans Christian Andersen's Little Match Girl, and Dearest Teacher, the story of the early life of Annie Sullivan.
