The exciting conclusion to the runaway Web series "Legally Brown: The Search For The Next Piragua Guy" will be posted this weekend to coincide with the closing of Legally Blonde, The Musical on Broadway which plays its final performance at the Palace Theater on October 19th. "Legally Brown" is a tongue-in-cheek look at the reality competition phenomenon, inspired by the MTV series, Legally Blonde The Musical: The Search For The Next Elle Woods. Created and Directed by Lin-Manuel Miranda (Tony Award winning-composer-lyricist-star of Broadway's In the Heights), each Legally Brown webisode acts as behind-the-scenes highlights to the fictitious show, "Legally Brown" – where nine Broadway actors compete to get their next gig, as The Piragua Guy in In The Heights. Along the way they face the humorous challenges, high drama and shocking twists we've come to love and expect from the Reality Competition format. Contestants include : Cheyenne Jackson (Xanadu), Allison Janney (9 to 5), Matthew Morrison (South Pacific), Noah Weisberg (South Pacific), Hunter Bell (Title Of Show), Norm Lewis (The Little Mermaid), Derrick Baskin (The Little Mermaid)) Telly Leung (Rent), and Eliseo Roman (In The Heights) defending his role as The Piragua Guy.The Judging Panel includes: Bernie Telsey (Casting Director), Quiara Alegría Hudes (In The Heights Writer, Pulitzer Finalist), Rickey Tripp (In The Heights): Seth Rudetsky (Broadway Vocal Coach) Andy Blankenbeuhler, (Tony-Winning In The Heights Choreographer), Thomas Kail (Director, In The Heights), as well as In The Heights Cast members Janet Dacal, Andréa Burns, Robin DeJesus and Lin-Manuel Miranda.
