Lee Street Theatre claimes that audiences will, "Die laughing at Salisbury's own Improv Comedy Troupe, Now Are The Foxes! Come laugh with us before the 2012 Apocalypse comes!" This show performs September 21-22 at 7:30pm at the Black Box Theater (405 N. Lee St Salisbury, NC 28144).

Featuring favorite "Foxes:" Cale Evans, Brian Romans, Jacob Asher, Emily Bartsch, Daniel Breuer, William Butland, Russ Bennett, and even more. Patrons are encouraged to attend this show expecially because this is the last performance for Emily Bartsch before she leaves the foxes.

Tickets are available at the door only for $10.

Lee Street Theatre is a non-profit, 501 (c) (3) organization committed to providing an avenue for the presentation of new, challenging, and alternative performance art within the Rowan-Salisbury community.  We are governed by an eleven-member board of governors and one staff member, the managing artistic director.

In it’s four years of existence, Lee Street Theatre has produced over thirty-five shows.  The types of productions have been one-act play festivals, original ten-minute play festivals, cabaret style musicals, reader’s theatre, dance performances, original plays, variety shows, and improvisational comedy.  In the winter of 2011, Lee Street Theatre held the world premiere of the new play Dirty Barbie and Other Girlhood Tales, which was a top 5 reccomendation at the 2012 Fringe Festival in Edinbourgh, Scotland.

For 4 years, Lee Street Theatre has rented the black box theatre at the Looking Glass Artists Center for performances.  In September 2012, Lee Street Theatre will be embarking on its first ever Capital Campaign to build a new performing arts center in Downtown Salisbury.
