A large turnout is expected for the new Sweeney Todd CD signing tomorrow evening, 10 p.m., on stage at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre. To accommodate as many people as possible, the producers have announced the following:

*The doors will close promptly at 11 p.m.

*One CD per person will be signed.

*Only this new Sweeney Todd Cast Recording will be signed.

* CDs will be sold and autographed on a first-come, first-served basis; while supplies last.

In a rare public appearance, composer Stephen Sondheim, stars Patti LuPone, Michael Cerveris, and cast members of the acclaimed Broadway revival of SWEENEY TODD, will sign copies of the new Nonesuch cast recording on the date of its release - Tuesday, January 31, 10:00 p.m. on the stage of the Eugene O'Neill Theatre, 230 W. 49 Street (home of the hit production). The event is open to the public.+

The SWEENEY TODD recording, produced by Tommy Krasker, is a 2 CD-set that includes 90-minutes of music and 92-page booklet, complete with slip cover. The CD will be on sale at the theater that evening.
