Lampkin Music Group is set to present the NY cabaret debut of actor/singer, Charles West in "Charles West...Feeling Good!" at Don't Tell Mama's, 343 West 46thStreet, NY.
5 Shows Only. Wednesdays, November 16th, 23rd at 9:15pm and Thursdays, Nov. 17th December 15th at 11:15 p.m. Thursday, December 9th at 9:15 p.m.

Charles is currently standby for El Gallo in the NYC production of "The Fantasticks". He appeared on Broadway in "The Scarlet Pimpernel", and "Cyrano, the Musical" and played Chris in the 1st National tour of "Miss Saigon".
Other credits include: the concert production of Show Boat at Carnegie Hall; appearing as Emile in "South Pacific", Freddy in "My Fair Lady" and Tony in a European tour of West Side Story. Recently, Charles has appeared with John Anthony Gilvey, author of the recent book,"Jerry
Orbach, Prince of the City:His Way from "The Fantasticks" to "Law & Order" at Borders; while also appearing as a guest on The Johnny Mandolin Show radio show.
Charles adds why he wanted to approach this genre: "I like where I've been. The ups and downs of my life onstage and off have taught me a lot. It took me a while, but now I love where I am.
When words alone aren't enough, all I can do is sing about it...and I'm feeling good!"

Steven Ray Watkins, Musical Director/Arranger, is well known for his work with stars a Patti LuPone, Karen Mason, Amanda McBroom, Beyonce, Hugh Jackman and Alexandra Billings. Steven is the winner of 2 Bistro Awards and 3 Mac Awards.
Mark Hawbecker, Director/Writer, Recent theatrical work includes the role of ‘Pirelli' in "Sweeney Todd"; appearing at the birthday celebration for icon Stephen Sondheim; sharing stages with Marilyn Horne, Kaye Ballard and Alice Ripley; and many appearances in Midwest nightclubs. Mark met Charles while both were living in Chicago. Their working relationship began with a parody lyric Mark wrote especially for West to use in his cabaret appearances.
