LAGUNA BEACH, CA - Multiple Grammy winner and two-time Academy Award nominee James Ingram will provide the soundtrack to the most glamorous night of the summer art season, and Heather Locklear will pull the most sought-after winning ticket, at the Acura/KOST Celebrity Event, Concert and Pageant at the Laguna Beach Festival of Arts. Since the Festival season opened June 30th visitors have been purchasing their raffle tickets in hopes that they would be the lucky winner of a brand new 2014 Acura RLX with technology package (valued at $54,450) and on August 24th at 8:15pm the winner will be drawn.

The Acura/KOST Celebrity Event, Concert and Pageant is always star-studded, and this year's event will not disappoint. At 5pm the red carpet will be open for public viewing and will be walked by attending celebrities, including the evening's host Heather Locklear and headliner James Ingram, the cast of Criminal Minds (Joe Mantegna, Matthew Gray Gubler, Shemar Moore, A.J. Cook, Kirsten Vangsness, Jeanne Tripplehorn) as well as Dana Delany (Body of Proof), Deidre Hall (Days of our Lives) and many, many others.

At 6:30pm guests will enjoy an intimate concert on the Festival green, headlined by James Ingram. From funk to soul, from R&B to pop, from adult contemporary to inspirational, James Ingram's multi-faceted talents have dazzled the American music scene since the early '80s. The Ohio native went from playing local bars with Revelation Funk to Los Angeles, where he landed gigs singing background vocals and playing piano for Ray Charles' recording studio sessions; playing keyboards behind the Coasters for Dick Clark; and recording background vocals for his mentor, Marvin Gaye. When Quincy Jones discovered him, Ingram's career skyrocketed. Ingram performed two solos, "Just Once" and "One Hundred Ways", on Jones's 1980 album The Dude. Those two songs earned Ingram three Grammy nominations: Best New Artist, Best Pop Male Vocal, and Best R&B Vocal (for which he won his first Grammy). It launched a career that has encompassed three decades, 14 Grammy nominations, several hit songs including "Yah Mo Be There" and "There's No Easy Way" and many highly acclaimed collaborations as a writer and vocalist, including "Pretty Young Thing" on Michael Jackson's album Thriller, as well as the duets with Patti Austin "Baby Come To Me" and "The Secret Garden" with Barry White. Ingram has also written and performed songs for films, including "Don't Make Me No Never Mind," for The Color Purple, "When You Love Someone," performed by Bryan Adams for Forget Paris, and "Somewhere Out There," performed by Ingram and Linda Ronstadt for Steven Spielberg's animated feature American Tail.

Actress Heather Locklear is a six-time Golden Globe nominee who has enjoyed a prolific career in both television and film. Her credits include starring roles in the hit series Spin City, Dynasty, and T.J. Hooker, while many people remember her best for her role as the scheming Amanda Woodward on Melrose Place from 1993-1999. Most recently Locklear has appeared regularly as Chloe in Hot in Cleveland, and can currently be seen as a series regular on the third season of the TNT hit show, Franklin & Bash. Locklear has been named three times on People Magazine's "Most Beautiful" list.

At 8:15pm the evening will get lucky when the beautiful Heather Locklear will pull the winning ticket for the 2013 Acura RLX! Tickets will continue to be sold right up until the moment the winner is pulled: $5 for one ticket, $20 for five tickets (winning ticketholder need not be present to win).

At 8:30pm, immediately following the pulling of the winning Acura ticket, guests will be ushered into the Irvine Bowl at the Festival of Arts for the perfect cap on a glamorous, star-studded evening: A special performance of the 2013 Pageant of the Masters production of "The Big Picture."
