For the third year in a row, LVMH is teaming up with the European Commission to promote best environmental practices in the framework of Green Week 2014.

Since 2011, LVMH has been launching its own internal Green Week in parallel with the one organized by the Commission, with the aim of sharing best practices and experience on circular economy with its employees worldwide.

Speaking on the eve of the opening of Green Week 2014, Environment Commissioner Janez Poto?nik said: "Private sector initiatives are crucial if we are all to make real progress in improving the environment. LVMH Group and its Maisons have demonstrated their long-term commitment to the environment and can provide inspiration to many others."

In 2013 the LVMH Group celebrated 20 years of exemplary environmental responsibility, and it is continuing its leadership vision with the roll out of its environment framework program, "LIFE- LVMH Indicators For the Environment", to all LVMH Maisons from 2014. This year, LVMH is focusing on the preservation and valorization of resources and recycling, which are key drivers of the environmental performance.
