LUMAS Black Belt Hosts Hallof Fame Banquet

Join Senator Jose Peralta and International Latina Singer Judy Torres as they celebrate the Award ceremony of some of the most prominent martial artists in the City today. The Latinos Unidos Martial Arts Society (LUMAS) will be hosting the LUMAS Black Belt Hall of Fame Banquet at the beautiful Terrace on the Park in Flushing, Queens on October 1, 2011 at 7:00 pm.

The event will be honoring a select group of Martial Artists, who have shown an outstanding dedication and commitment to the Martial Arts and to their community.

The distinguished honorees and guests are key in "Training today's young students to be tomorrow leaders". The benefits of the martial arts and the talent and dedication taught to today's students by our prominent and reputable honorees are immeasurable. LUMAS President, Hiram Diaz will also be presenting Senator Peralta and Ms. Torres with honorary Black Belt Certificates.

 As part of a larger initiative to increase the health awareness and representation of Latinos in the martial arts, LUMAS is hosting LUMAS Black Belt Hall of Fame Banquet. This will be an elegant event with great dinner, fantastic music, dancing, open bar, desserts, great demonstrations and of course fine friends.
