LOVE'S LABOUR'S LOST Recording Session Round-Up! Video Preview, Cast Tweets & More

A glimpse behind the scenes at the current recording of the recent Shakespeare In The Park production of William Shakespeare's classic comedy LOVE'S LABOUR'S LOST is now available to view, featuring cast-members Colin Donnell, Daniel Breaker and more.

Although a release date has not yet been announced, the forthcoming cast recording captures the score for the unique production directed by Alex Timbers earlier this year at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park, highlighted by Michael Friedman's songs and a new book by Timbers.

The cast of LOVE'S LABOURS LOST includes Daniel Breaker (King of Navarre), Kevin Del Aguila (Dull),Colin Donnell (Berowne), Andrew Durand (Boyet), Kimiko Glenn (Maria), Jeff Hiller (Nathaniel), Rebecca Naomi Jones(Jaquenetta), Justin Levine (Moth), Patti Murin (Princess), Lucas Near-Verbrugghe (Dumaine), Bryce Pinkham(Longaville), Charlie Pollock (Costard), Caesar Samayoa (Don Armado), Maria Thayer (Rosaline), andAudrey Lynn Weston (Katherine).

The official description of LOVE'S LABOUR'S LOST is as follows: "IIn LOVE'S LABOUR'S LOST, romance, revelry and enchanting music ignite in this contemporary yeT Lovingly faithful musical adaptation of Shakespeare's comedy. The King and his best buds decide at their five-year college reunion to swear off the joys of women. But when four cute, clever girls from their past show up, they're forced to reconsider all of that nonsense! Smart, sexy, outrageous, and irreverent, LOVE'S LABOUR'S LOST is a madcap celebration of true love and coming of age. LOVE'S LABOUR'S LOST was developed in collaboration with Les Freres Corbusier."

Of note, cast-members have taken to social media to share some insights and shots from the recording session.

Colin Donnell took to Twitter to write, "We got all the hits! "@queencupcake: @ShKBoom which songs will be included?? #lovelabourslost" as well as jokingly posting a shot of his cast-mates, captioning it, "These as*holes. #loveslabourslost" in addition to conversations with co-star Patti Murin and even more.
