LOVE IS LIKE MUD: A PUPPET ROCK OPERA IN ONE ACT will perform Fridays this fall at The Tank. Brought to you from Ben Folstein, the writer of MUSIC AND LYRICS, LOVE IS LIKE MUD is a story about the romantic misadventures between city dwellers Jon and Anne. After meeting on the subway they have an awkward first date, followed by a torrid night of sex. Before they know it they are in the midst of a relationship, wondering if they have fallen in love.

Ben Folstein has been an active artist since he was very young. By the time he was in high school he had already made several films and won multiple awards for his film making. He went to San Francisco where he worked in the theater industry and made over 70 films in the five years he lived there. In 2006, he moved to New York City where he began developing LOVE IS LIKE MUD and writing music, lyrics, and cultivating his band, Level 2.
