The new Broadway play LOMBARDI, starring Dan Lauria as the legendary Hall of Fame football coach Vince Lombardi and Judith Light as his wife Marie, opens Thursday October 21 at the Circle in the Square Theatre, (50th, west of Broadway).
The audience on opening night will include NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, Green Bay Packers CEO Mark Murphy, New York Giants Co-Owners John Mara and Jonathan Tisch, Bob Costas, former New York Yankee Lee Mazzilli, Vince's daughter Susan Lombardi, and former Green Bay Packers Chuck Mercein and Jerry Kramer; as well as Paul Hornung, Dave Robinson, and Jim Taylor who are featured as characters in the play. Other celebrities attending include Kate Mara, Max Minghella, Rachel Dratch, Michael Urie, Sarah Paulson, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Katie Finneran, Wendie Malick, Memphis writer Joe DiPietro, Tyne Daly, The Sopranos' Dan Grimaldi, Jack Klugman, and Regis Philbin.· Judith Light will be a guest on "Live with Regis & Kelly" (WABC TV at 9 AM)
· Judith Light will be a guest on WOR Radio's Joan Hamburg show at Noon (770 AM)

· Dan Lauria will be interviewed on WABC TV by Sandy Kenyon at 6:22AM and 5:22 PM. Catch it in NYC cabs beginning this Friday as well.
Directed by Tony Award nominee Thomas Kail, LOMBARDI is an original play written by Academy Award winner Eric Simonson and based on the best-selling biography When Pride Still Mattered: A Life of Vince Lombardi, by Pulitzer Prize-winning author David Maraniss. Joining producers Tony Ponturo and Fran Kirmser as special producing partner is the National Football League, marking the organization's first foray on Broadway. The cast also features Keith Nobbs as Michael McCormick, Bill Dawes as Paul Hornung, Robert Christopher Riley as Dave Robinson and Chris Sullivan as Jim Taylor.
