According to the New York Times, Live From Lincoln Center's creator John Goberman will depart from the show at the end of June. After he leaves, Goberman 'will continue to stage concert galas, video productions and symphonic cinema events, in which orchestral scores are performed live to films.' A replacement has not yet been named.

Live From Lincoln Center brings live performances of opera, drama, music, and dance direct from the stages of Lincoln Center in New York City into American homes, making the world's greatest artists accessible to a nationwide audience.
The only live performing arts series on television, Live From Lincoln Center is produced by Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts in cooperation with Thirteen/WNET in New York, and airs on PBS stations across the country. Created and developed by Executive Producer John Goberman, the series launched on January 30, 1976. Since then, both Mr. Goberman and Live From Lincoln Center have been recognized with numerous awards, including thirteen Emmy Awards and 53 Emmy Award nominations, as well as two Grammy Awards, two George Foster Peabody Awards, three Monitor Awards, and a Television Critics' Circle Award.
