Life Line by Robert Ellsworth will have three performances at the Theatre at St. Clement's this month: July 21 at 7:30, July 28 at 6:00, and July 30 at 4:30.
Two strangers, an affluent, middle-aged divorcee (Lisa Dennett) and a sardonic, gay Mexican American stylist (Ricardo Salcido) volunteer at a West Hollywood suicide hotline. Unqualified and without guidance, they are forced to fend for themselves. Despite ostensible contrasts, they somehow find an intimacy between them as they tackle increasingly dire phone calls, as well as their own existential crisis. The production is directed by Daniel Echevarria.
Tickets are $25 in advance, $27 at the door.
