The annual charity soccer match featuring West End stalwarts from two long-running staples, LES MISERABLES and THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, along with numerous notable soccer stars playing side by side is set for August according to a new listing.
The official description of LES MIS V PHANTOM: THE HAT-TRICK is as follows: "Les Mis V Phantom is back and this year it is our aim to make it bigger and better and raise even more money for charity. As many of you will know, our inspiration for starting this event, Melanie Oakley-Dow, sadly lost her battle with cancer at the end of last year. She is extremely missed by her family and all who knew her and LES MISERABLES is not the same without her. We will be playing this years match in her memory, hence our goal in making this years match the best one yet! As well as raising money for Cardiac Risk in the Young, we will also be donating some proceeds from the day to Mel's charities, Macmillan Cancer Research and Ellenor Lions Hospices. Read more about the three charities below."
LES MIS V PHANTOM: THE HAT-TRICK is set to take place on August 3.
