LEAP OF FAITH's Leslie Odom Jr. Moves Up to Series Regular in SMASH Season 2!

According to Deadline, LEAP OF FAITH's Leslie Odom Jr. has just been moved from a recurring character to a series regular for NBC's Smash Season 2.

Odom's character, Sam, is one of Ivy's dancer friends and Tom (Christian Borle)'s love interest.

Odom joins just-announced Broadway's Krysta Rodriguez, Jennifer Hudson, Newsies' Jeremy Jordan and Broadway's up-and-coming actor Andy Mientus. Jamie Cepero, Raza Jaffrey, Brian d'Arcy James and Will Chase leave the show this season.

Odom was most recently seen on Broadway in Leap of Faith. Odom's other TV credits include House of Lies, Supernatural, CSI: Miami, Big Day, Vanished and more.
