Drift In, Act Out will present the world premiere of Leah in Vegas, a new play by Kara Ayn Napolitano, with direction by Kristin Skye Hoffman (WINNER: Outstanding Direction FringeNYC 2012) as part of the 18th annual New York International Fringe Festival - FringeNYC.
Recently released from jail and legally blocked from her daughter Kristi, Leah faces the challenge of entering back into life after making a mistake that changed everything. How do you reconnect when people see you for what you did instead of who you are? How do you accept or forgive someone who has made a controversial mistake? Aiming for her daughter in Los Angeles, Leah instead finds herself in Las Vegas where temptation abounds and the reality of her crime can't be denied.
Additionally, Leah in Vegas tells the story of four strong female characters. With a director and playwright who are both women, Drift In, Act Out is proud to bring more female perspective to FringeNYC.
This production features Jenna D'Angelo, Leslie Marseglia, Samantha Cooper, and
