LAUGHING LIBERALLY: THE ELECTION EDITION Concludes 10/15 at the Playroom Theater

LAUGHING LIBERALLY: THE 2012 ELECTION EDITION, a comedy extravaganza, which mixes humor, musical numbers, and political satire will conclude its 2012 on Oct. 15th at The Playroom Theater. Featuring progressive comedians from CNN, Comedy Central, Showtime, MTV, Huffington Post, and C-SPAN, the show plays Monday evenings at 8PM until Oct. 15th.

Under the direction of Justin Krebs (author of 538 Ways to Live, Work & Play as a Liberal), LAUGHING LIBERALLY: THE 2012 ELECTION EDITION will feature a rotating cast including John Fugelsang, Jim David, Dean Obeidallah, Baratunde Thurston, Katie Goodman, Negin Farsad, Lee Camp, Katie Halper, Jamie Kilstein, Elon James White, and Scott Blakeman.

For six years, Laughing Liberally has been entertaining the Political Left with a national tour, recurring New York productions and special events at progressive conferences including Netroots Nation, Take Back the American Dream and Democratic and Republican Conventions. Laughing Liberally has partnered on videos and special performances with The Nation, the AFL-CIO, Welcoming America, the SEIU, We The People and an array of liberal publishers, advocacy groups and causes. Laughing Liberally recently launched Laughter Works, a comedy endeavor promoting a respect for working Americans.

LAUGHING LIBERALLY is presented by LIVING LIBERALLY, a multifaceted national movement that builds progressive communities through social networks and events. Living Liberally also sponsors Drinking Liberally, the national network of over 200 progressive social clubs; Screening Liberally, a series of socially-conscious films; Eating Liberally, environmentally conscious food events “with good gab and great grub”; Talking Liberally, a continuing round of public affairs gatherings exploring issues of progressive politics; and Reading Liberally, book tours for progressive authors.
