LATIN AMERICA MEETS BROADWAY Set for Sheppard Mullin, 6/2

Actor & producer, Luis Salgado, currently on ROCKY Broadway and C.E.O of Salgado Productions has joined forces with the United States - Mexico Chamber of Commerce to create a special event Latin America Meets Broadway - Exporting, Importing and Co-Producing Musicals & Plays. This event will foster networking with the goal to bridge the gaps between New York and Latin American artists and producers through an informative panel conversation.

An experienced group of individuals from all sides of the world of producing, from NYC to Latin America have been invited as panelists to lead this discussion. Ken Davenport, (Broadway Producer), Felipe Gamba, (International Strategy Director, Disney Theatrical), Morris Gilbert, (Director of Theatre, OCESA), Carlos Arana, (Broadway Investor & Producer), Roberta Pereira, (Broadway/Off-Broadway Producer), Kelly Crabb, (Partner, Sheppard Mullin), Robert Darwell, (Partner, Sheppard Mullin) & Luis Salgado, (Actor & Producer), will share their producing and creative experiences in the Broadway circuit and international productions. As well as discuss the much-needed accounting, tax and law information necessary in order to put together a show.

Some of the Discussion Topics Include:

· Present trends, experience, challenges and business opportunities on the exporting and importing of Broadway shows to and from Latin America.

· Analyze cross-border co-productions between New York and Latin America, project financing, local support and legal and tax issues.

Latin America Meets Broadway - Exporting, Importing and Co-Producing Musicals & Plays will take place Monday June 2, 2014 at Sheppard Mullin - 30 Rockefeller Plaza, 39 Floor, New York, New York 10112 from 4pm -6:30p with a cocktail reception from 6:30pm -7:30pm.
