Kristine Reese to Lead SAVE THE DATE at FringeNYC; Full Cast Announced!

Announcing casting for the 2013 New York International Fringe Festival world premiere production of SAVE THE DATE, a wedding road-trip musical with book, music, and lyrics by Gregory Jacobs-Roseman.

The cast will feature Graydon Long, Ashley Moniz (Nat. Tour: Sister Act, 9 to 5, Legally Blonde), James Penca, Kristine Reese (Bway: Les Miserables, Nat. Tour: Wicked). Barrett Wilbert Weed (Bway: Lysistrata Jones, New York: Bare), and Noah Zachary (New York: Dear Edwina). The cast will also include Daniel Bonthius, Nathan Scott Hancock, Patty Lohr, and Chloe Williamson.

The story revolves around Emily and her gay BFF Alex, who can't understand why, at 27, everyone they know is getting married! A chaotic journey to Emily's ex's wedding unleashes a ferocious challenge to their friendship. While everyone else is getting their lives together, why are they falling apart?

Roadie Soadie Productions is proud to present SAVE THE DATE as part of the 17th annual New York International Fringe Festival, a production of The Present Company. Performances will take place at FringeNYC's largest venue: Theatre 80 St. Marks. Performances: Thursday, August 15th at 10:15 PM, Friday, August 16th at 9:45PM, Tuesday, August 20th at 2:00PM, Thursday, August 22nd at 5:30PM, Saturday, and August 24th at 7:00PM.
