Kristin Chenoweth on GLEE, and Her New Musical Sitcom!

Today, Decmeber 17, Broadway's Kristin Chenoweth appeared on Access Hollywood Live and gave away some details on her next GLEE appearance.  Even better, Chenoweth chatted about the new sitcom that Ryan Murphy is creating for her. Chenoweth confirmed rumors that she will star in a new musical series which is aimed at more mature audiences than GLEE.

Chenoweth revealed, "It's signed on the dotted lines, so he should be busily working away on a new show because he has nothing else to do, you know. He's very bored. I feel sorry for him," Kristin joked.

On whether John Stamos will join her in the series, she said, "You know, those are the rumors, but I don't know it to be true. I love him. I love John. There are a lot of men I like. Did that sound wrong?"

On when April will return to GLEE she added, "She's definitely going to come back. She's going to come back in the spring for probably a couple episodes... and I have no idea how drunk she will be."

GLEE follows an optimistic teacher who - against all odds and a malicious cheerleading coach - inspires McKinley High's Glee Club to conquer the world one singing competition at a time. GLEE stars Dianna Agron, Chris Colfer, Jessalyn Gilsig, Jane Lynch, Jayma Mays, Kevin McHale, Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, Matthew Morrison, Amber Riley, Mark Salling and Jenna Ushkowitz.

GLEE is produced by Ryan Murphy Television in association with 20th Century Fox Television. Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan are co-creators of the series. Murphy, Falchuk and Dante di Loreto serve as executive producers, while Ian Brennan serves as co-executive producer.
