Kristin Chenoweth Shares If She'll Ever Perform in WICKED Again, Sings Judy Garland & More on STARS IN THE HOUSE Image

The Actors Fund has teamed with SiriusXM Broadway host Seth Rudetsky and his husband, producer James Wesley, to produce a daily mini-online show, entitled Stars in The House, featuring stars of stage and screen singing and performing live (from home!) on social media to promote support for The Fund's services for those most vulnerable to the effects of Coronavirus (COVID-19).

Stars In The House continued last night (8pm) with Tony and Emmy award-winning Broadway Legend Kristin Chenoweth!

Chenoweth, in full glam, said that instead of S.N.O.B Saturday night on Broadway, her evening would be S.N.I.B, Saturday Night In Bathroom, with her "Guitarist, cook, maid, and boyfriend, Josh Bryant."

Chenoweth spoke about her beauty pageant roots, her advice to performers during this time of social distancing, if she'll ever perform in Wicked again, and more. She chatted with special guests Anne L. Nathan, Melissa Gilbert and Timothy Busfield, and Kathy Najimy, and sang songs by Linda Ronstadt and Judy Garland, as well as singing a hymn, The Prayer of St. Francis.

Chenoweth shared a story about coming in third place in two separate beauty pageants, and the reason she believes she landed in that position.

"Could it have been the onstage question? The onstage question was, 'What do you think of 60 Minutes as a TV show?'... and I said, 'I think it's a good amount of time.'"

When asked in a fan comment if she would ever perform in Wicked again, Kristin answered, "I can't do Wicked on stage anymore because it would just feel so... I've been there, done that, you know what I mean? And I got to create that part with Stephen Schwartz and Winnie and Idina and Joe, all of us. And I just feel like, it was what it was and sometimes when you try to go back in time it's not as you would remember... I like to see who's new and celebrate that. Everybody keeps talking about the movie, and I've always pictured if I were to be in the movie, or they were to have Idina and I in the movie in any way, it would just be fun to be in a group scene and just pan by like, Where's Waldo? I don't know how Dee feels about it, we've talked about it over the years a couple of times, but that's kind of where I'm at with it."

Between each song, Seth will interview the star as he does on SiriusXM, leading them to give fun, inside stories about their careers. Both the star and Seth will encourage people watching to donate at ActorsFund.org/Donate and James will be giving updates from The Fund as well as giving shout-outs to people donating in real time.
