Kristin Chenoweth Not Returning to THE GOOD WIFE After Recovery

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Broadway favorite Kristin Chenoweth is currently recovering after being recently hospitalized from an accident on the set of 'The Good Wife.'  According to People.com, the actress will not return to the drama after her recovery.

She told People: "It is with deep regret to inform everyone that due to my injuries, I am unable to return toThe Good Wife. [I'm] getting better slowly, and thank you everyone for your concern."

The actress received an Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for her role in the series "Pushing Daisies," and has appeared in the comedy "Glee" for which she received two Emmy nominations for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series. Recently, she starred in the series "GCB." Currently, Chenoweth is on a North American tour, performing songs from her latest album "Some Lessons Learned," as well as an array of her most memorable songs and Broadway show tunes, including music from "Wicked," "Promises Promises" and "Glee."

On Broadway, Chenoweth has appeared in Steel Pier, You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown, Epic Proportions, Funny Girl, Wicked, The Apple Tree, Promises, Promises, and On the Twentieth Century. Her Off-Broadway credits include The Fantasticks, Box Office of the Damned, Scapin, Strike Up the Band, A New Brain, On a Clear Day You Can See Forever, Candide, The Apple Tree, Stairway to Paradise, Love, Loss and What I Wore and many more.

The fourth season of THE GOOD WIFE premieres Sunday, Sept. 30 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
