Kline, Hoffman et al. Lend Support to Belarus Free Theater with BEING HAROLD PINTER Benefit at The Public Tonight, 1/17

The Public Theater and La MaMa present a one-night only encore benefit performance of the Belarus Free Theater's acclaimed production of Being Harold Pinter. The show was a sold out hit at this year's Under The Radar Festival. All proceeds from the evening will benefit the Belarus Free Theater who is facing persecution in their homeland and barely escaped prison to travel to New York to perform this powerful piece of political theater. The event will take place tonight, January 17 and benefit the Belarus Free Theater.  

The event will feature performances by Belarus Free Theater members: Natalia Kaliada and Nikolai Khalezin, Pavel Garadnitski, Irene Iarochevitch, Mikalai Khalezin, Yana Rusakevich, Aleh Sidorchyk, Dzianis Tarasenka, and Maryna Yurevich.

Joining them in support from the US are Philip Seymour Hoffman, Kevin Kline, Josh Hamilton,
Tony Kushner, Mandy Patinkin, Lily Rabe, Olympia DukakisStephen Spinella, Tom Stoppard, Trudy Styler, Lou ReedLaurie Anderson, and Linda Emond.
