Kirkman Announces Back to School Art Contest

Art is an important part of early childhood development, whether it's painting on easels at school, or creating paper mache products for homework. To help children embrace their artistic side, Kirkman is holding its second annual art contest - Kirkman's Back to School Art Contest - in an effort to encourage children to embrace art during the summer months.

Kirkman will reward all qualified entrants in addition to providing a special prize for the contest's winner and runner-up.

All qualifying entries will receive a $10 gift certificate to be used toward any future purchase of Kirkman products just for entering. Only one gift certificate will be given per contestant regardless of the number of entries received. Each entry, however, will be eligible for the grand prize.

Here's where it gets good. The winner of Kirkman's Back To School Art Contest will receive $50 worth of Kirkman's nutritional supplements every month for one calendar year, or a cash prize of $250. The runner-up will receive $50 worth of Kirkman's nutritional supplements every month for six months, or a $100 cash prize.

Now, the rules:

1) Participants must be under the age of 18;
2) Parents or the legal guardian of the child must fill out a release form for the child's artwork;
3) All entries must include a valid name, address, email address and telephone number submitted with the entry to be valid;
4) All entries must be submitted in a .jpg file or the original artwork (measuring 8 ½" x 11") can be sent to our Reno office; 10639 Professional Circle Reno, NV 89521;
5) To qualify, entries must be dated by 11:59 p.m. PDT August 31, 2013 and either sent by mail to the above address or by email to accounts(at)kirkmangroup(dot)com.

The Kirkman Back to School Art Contest is coming to a close, but there's still time to get in your last minute submissions to be considered for one of Kirkman's largest prizes ever.

All entries must be sent by 11:59 p.m. PDT on August 31, 2013.
