Kinsman Robinson Galleries presents LOUIE PALU, Mira Mexico, today, September 21 - October 12, 2013. Opening: Tonight, Saturday, September 21, 2:00 - 4:00 pm.

Talk: 3:15 pm - Join us when journalist and Canadian Art contributor Noah Richler speaks with Louie Palu on the dangers of chronicling the Mexican drug war.

Kinsman Robinson Galleries is pleased to present Louie Palu: Mira Mexico featuring work by the internationally acclaimed photographer from his Sondheim Installation at the Walters Art Museum in Baltimore and works from his earliest series, photographed two decades ago in Mexico, which join the recent works from his award-winning project "Mira Mexico".

Over the course of two years, Palu traveled across thousands of kilometres along the U.S.-Mexico border for his in-depth and ground breaking project which examines the Mexican drug war. He documented numerous issues including violence, immigration, mental illness, drug addiction and impunity. This perilous journey took him through numerous border towns and deep into drug cartel territory.
