On the morning of her 25th birthday (also the 1-year anniversary of her father's death), Molly packs to embark on the trip to Paris that her dad always wanted to take her on. She and her fiancé plan to visit the Eiffel Tower and sprinkle his ashes, but at the last minute her fiancé cancels on her.

Once in Paris on her own, everything goes awry, and Molly must rely on her own chutzpah and the kindness of a French family to help her. A new relationship brings her to major realizations about her seemingly perfect life, proving that sometimes you have to get lost in order to truly find yourself.

The show will star Kimberly Immanuel (Pacific Overtures, The Fantasticks) as Molly. It will also feature Tony nominee Valarie Pettiford (Fosse, Big Deal), Anthony Norman (Newsies Nat'l Tour), Darren Bunch, Keri Safran, and Jack Cotterell. The ensemble will include Rakel Aroyo, Katy Wilson, and Zach Schanne.

City of Light has a charming musical theater score with music by Jan Roper, lyrics by Julie Weiner, and book by Gabrielle Wagner. It will be directed by TONY Award Winner Cady Huffman (The Producers), choreographed by Lorna Ventura (Wicked), music directed by Emily Marshall, stage managed by Joel Rosen (Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas), with set design by Margaux Maeght.
