Yesterday, the creative team of GHOSTLIGHT the musical announced that Leigh Martha Klinger will play the leading role of 'Olive Thomas' in next month's high profile staged reading of the show. Today, they have announced that Kimberly Faye Greenberg (DANNY AND SYLVIA) and Abigail Ludrof (The HVAC PLAYS) has joined the cast as 'Fanny Brice' and 'Molly Cook', respectively. The rest of the principal cast and full ensemble will be announced shortly.

GHOSTLIGHT, by Matthew Martin and Tim Realbuto, will present another reading on October 22nd as part of the Emerging Artists Theatre's New Work Series. GHOSTLIGHT previously played at the New York Musical Theatre Festival in 2011 and presented industry readings in 2013 and 2014.

GHOSTLIGHT tells the true story of infamous Ziegfeld Follies girl and silent film star Olive Thomas (Klinger), whose ghost is said to still haunt the New Amsterdam Theatre today. In "Ghostlight", we see Olive's rise to fame in the Ziegfeld Follies alongside Fanny Brice (Greenberg), her affair with a married Ziegfeld, her obsessive friendship with Follies comedienne Molly Cook (Ludrof), her whirlwind Hollywood marriage to movie star Jack Pickford, and ultimately her tragic downfall, which led to her mysterious death at age 25 in Paris.

GHOSTLIGHT will play on Thursday, October 22nd at 9:00 PM at the TADA! Theatre, 15 West 28th Street in NYC. All tickets are $10. It will be directed by Michael Kidney, with musical direction by Julianne B. Merrill.

A graduate of the University of California, Irvine, Ms. Greenberg has appeared as Fanny Brice in every incarnation of GHOSLIGHT since it premiered at Off-Broadway's Signature Theatre in 2011. She is most known as the first only actress in NYC to star in two legit Off-Broadway musicals simultaneously (as Sylvia Fine the long-running hit DANNY AND SYLVIA, as well as her IBTA Award nominated performance in the solo show ONE NIGHT WITH FANNY BRICE). She is also the creator and star of the touring show FABULOUS FANNY, which recently had a sold-out run at popular venue 54 Below. Her numerous New York stage credits including leading roles in the world premieres of Steven Carl McCasland's LITTLE WARS; 28 MARCHANT AVENUE; and WHAT WAS LOST. She played the role of the The French Teacher in the New York transfer (and American premiere) of the hit West End musical LIFT. Ms. Greenberg can currently be seen weekly as Fanny Brice in ZIEGFELD'S MIDNIGHT FROLIC at Broadway's Liberty Theatre.

Ms. Ludrof played the role of Molly Cook in the last industry reading of GHOSTLIGHT. She has performed at many venues throughout NYC, including Joe's Pub, 54 Below, and The Triad. New York credits include: ROCKABYE HAMLET (Gertrude), THE HVAC PLAYS (Fringe NYC), THIRD FLOOR (The Tank Theatre), FUNERAL PARLOR (Susan), and FREEDOM'S SONG the musical (Emerging Artists). Abigail is a graduate of The American Musical and Dramatic Academy.
