Kim Cea will bring her one-woman show "Kim Cea Live" to Gotham Comedy Club's new Metropolitan Room on Sunday, September 10th at 9:30 PM.

"Equal parts comic genius and touching songstress, this is far beyond your standard cabaret fare," state press materials.  "Kim takes you into her world of Cher encounters, family faux pas, Internet obsession and hot pocket addiction. This all new show is filled with relatable hilarity and bittersweet songs that bring on the nostalgia we all crave."

Cea is a multi-award winning stand-up comic (MAC Awards, Budweiser's Ladies of Laughter).  A member of the Friar's Club, she was one of the stars of PBS Emmy Award-winning "The News in Revue."  She has appeared on Broadway in Smokey Joe's Cafe (in the role she originated in the first national tour) and headlined at Caesar's Palace in Atlantic City.  Cea also appeared Off-Broadway in the satirical Newsical at Studio 54 and starred in the DVD release of "The Naughty Show," showcasing NYC-based female comediennes.  She has performed live on its subsequent tour dates.

The Metropolitan Room is located at 34 West 22nd Street (between 5th and 6th Avenues).  Tickets are $20 plus a 2-drink minimum.  Reservations are strongly recommended; call 212-206-0440.  Visit www.MetropolitanRoom.com or
