Kidz Theater is a professional development nonprofit company for young performers who are seeking a career in the musical theater. We believe deeply in the capabilities of young performers and present them with college level training at a young age. We strive to teach professionalism, discipline and strong technique within a supportive, family environment. We've helped children book Broadway shows and National Tours. Our students have been accepted to the top Musical Theatre College Programs including NYU Tisch, Boston Conservatory, Carnegie Mellon and CCM. Past performers include Ben Platt (Dear Evan Hansen, Book of Mormon), Rodney Ingram (Aladdin, Phantom of the Opera), Sarah Cetrulo (North American Tour of Les Miserables), Cameron Anika Hill (Dear Evan Hansen), Micaela Diamond (The Cher Show), and more!
"It is hard for me to separate my experience at Kidz Theater from my experience in professional theater because the level of commitment and passion is equal in both arenas. If you are looking for a place to cultivate your abilities among some of the most talented youth that NYC has to offer, Kidz Theater is the place for you. It is a place to learn, grow, and perform at a level of incredible quality and sophistication." - Ben Platt, alum and Tony Award Winner for Dear Evan Hansen on Broadway
