Kids in the Hall to Bring RUSTY AND READY to Merriam Theatre, 6/8

Iconic sketch comedy group, Kids in the Hall, will bring their hilarious new live tour 'Rusty and Ready' to five U.S. cities in June 2014 including an exclusive Philadelphia debut performance at the Merriam Theater on Sunday, June 8 at 8 p.m.

Fresh from a sold out appearance at last week's Moontower Comedy Festival in Austin, the new tour will kick off on June 6 at Wilbur Hall in Boston before wrapping up in Detroit at the Royal Oak Theatre on June 14.

Tickets go on sale Friday, May 2 at 10 a.m. Tickets range from $37.50 to $45 and can be purchased by calling 215-893-1999, online at kimmelcenter.org, at the Kimmel Center box office, Broad & Spruce Streets. (open daily 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.).

The all new 'Rusty and Ready' is the first tour for Kids in the Hall since 2008 and will see the return of fan favorites like Chicken Lady and Buddy Cole, from their long running HBO TV series, along with outrageous new skits that confirm why Kids in the Hall are one of the most successful comedy groups of all time.

Kids in the Hall - Dave Foley, Bruce McCulloch, Kevin McDonald, Mark McKinney and Scott Thompson - are the acclaimed Canadian comedy troupe, best known for their hit eponymous TV show that ran for five seasons on HBO. More recently their eight episode mini-series, Death Comes To Town, aired on IFC in 2010.

Tickets for Kids in the Hall 'Rusty and Ready' at Wilbur Hall in Boston are on sale now, and tickets for the remaining dates will go on sale Friday, May 2 at 10am via AXS.com and the venue box office. Produced by AEG Live.
